DEPUTY FORCE COMMANDER OF UNIFIL UNDERTAKES FAMILIARIZATION VISIT TO SRI LANKAN FORCE PROTECTION COMPANY IN LEBANON

Brigadier General Chok Bahadur Dhakal , the Deputy Force Commander (DFC) of UNIFIL made an official visit to the Sri Lankan Force Protection Company (FPC) in Naquora, Lebanon on Tuesday (06) June 2023.

The visiting Deputy Force Commander UNIFIL was warmly welcomed by Lt Col D P L T Kaluaggala RSP USP IG SLA, the Contingent Commander of 14th FPC at the main entrance before a formal Guard Turnout greeted him.

Troops’ address, an interactive session and all ranks lunch at 'Sri House' were held as per the day’s itinerary. Apart from that, a Dog Show was held to demonstrate the capabilities and active commitment of sniffing dogs owned by the Sri Lanka FPC.

Finally, the Deputy Force Commander extended his warm wishes to the troops of 14th FPC and signed the Visitors' Book leaving memories of the visit. All Officers and a cross section of Other Ranks of the 14th FPC participated in the programme.
