CONTINGENT OWN EQUIPMENT INSPECTION FOR THE 5TH COMBAT CONVOY COMPANY IN MALI (MINUSMA) CONCLUDES SUCCESSFULLY

Sri Lanka Army’s newest contingent 5th Combat Convoy Company (CCC) is conducting peacekeeping operations under the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) since 01 July 2023.

The Contingent Own Equipment Inspection (COE) for the Sri Lanka Combat Convoy Company was held on Tuesday (25) July 2023 at Gao Super Camp in Mali with the participation of United Nations officials.

The COE inspection is held quarterly to verify whether the Major Equipment and Self Sustainment provided by the troop contributing country are carried out as per the UN standard. During the inspection, vehicles,weapons,ammo,medical,accomodation, welfare and other items were checked by the United Nations Inspection team according to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
