BRIGADIER M K D P MAPALAGAMA psc TAKES OVER DUTIES AS THE DIRECTOR OVERSEAS OPERATIONS

Brigadier M K D P Mapalagama psc assumed duties in the office of the Director Overseas Operations on 24 June 2025 at the Directorate of Overseas Operations, Defence Headquarters Complex, Battaramulla during a brief ceremony.

Signifying the acceptance of the new office, the Senior Officer placed his signature in a formal document at the auspicious time amidst religious observances and rituals in his new office.

Prior to the new receipt of the appointment, the Senior Officer had been serving as the Commandant of Army Training School, Maduru Oya.

Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks attended the occasion with congratulatory compliments over his new appointment.
