As a part of Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) activities, SRIMED Level 2 Hospital organized a three-day medical camp from 22 to 24 July 2025 at Sir John Garang University, Bor. The camp was aimed at providing medical screening and investigations, and providing consultations and medications based on the results of screening. Further, an awareness programme on non-communicable diseases was also conducted in parallel to the programme. A total of 124 individuals belonged to both academic and non-academic staff of the university had been successfully screened and treated at the end of this medical camp.
This endeavour was honoured by the visit of the Force Commander of UNMISS, Lieutenant General Mohan Subramanian PVSM AVSM SM VSM, accompanied by Sector East Commander Brigadier General Razzaq Ahmed and Head of Field Office (HOFO) Bor, Mrs. Geetha Pious. The dignitaries observed the ongoing medical activities and expressed their appreciation for the initiative. The Force Commander highlighted the importance of such community outreach programmes and encouraged the continued engagement of SRIMED Level 2 Hospital in supporting local communities.
