MAJOR GENERAL S P WICKRAMASEKERA RWP RSP USP PSC TAKES OVER DUTIES AS THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OVERSEAS OPERATIONS

Major General S P Wickramasekera RWP RSP USP psc assumed duties in the office of the Director General Overseas Operations on 29 December 2025 at the Directorate of Overseas Operations, Defence Headquarters Complex, Battaramulla during a brief ceremony.

Signifying the acceptance of the new office, the Senior Officer placed his signature on a formal document at the auspicious time amidst religious observances and rituals in his new office.
