Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment bid farewell to the former General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division, Major General M P N A Muthumala USP psc on 19 October 2025, who retired after serving more than 35 years in the Regular Force of the Sri Lanka Army. The Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) took part in the island-wide beach cleaning campaign organized by the Sri Lanka Army on 29 July 2025, under the theme “Beautiful Coastline – An Attractive Tourism Destination.” As part of the “Clean Sri Lanka” program, SLSR joined the drive to clean the Puttalam and Thalavila coastline, aiming to enhance coastal beauty and reduce marine pollution.
