The swimmers of the Sinha Regiment triumphed in the Army Inter-Regiment Water Polo Tournament (Novices) - 2025, securing the championship title. A standout achievement was by Second Lieutenant Y.D. Jayawardena, who was honored as the ‘Best Swimmer’ in Swimming Tournament (Novices), claiming gold medals in the 50m Butterfly, 50m Breaststroke, and the 50m x 4 Medley Relay. The victorious team received a warm and heartfelt welcome from Brigadier C.S. Thibbotuge, Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, celebrating their remarkable success.

On 6 January 2025, the troops of the 4th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (4 SLSR) completed a heartwarming community service project by constructing a new house for a needy family in Puwatkarei, Point Pedro. The housewarming ceremony was attended by Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander of Security Forces (Jaffna), who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The project was initiated under the close supervision of Major H.M.P.K Bandara RSP USP psc - The Commanding Officer, 4 SLSR.

On 19 December 2024, a total of 68 students and 5 teachers from Hindu College Jaffna, Tamil Central College Vavuniya, and Rideethenna Iqrah College Punanai, participated in a special programme held at the Regimental Centre of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment in Ambepussa under the expert guidance of Major General Dinesh Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and closely supervised by Brigadier Chaminda Thibbotuge, Centre Commandant of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment.
