On 6 January 2025, the troops of the 4th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (4 SLSR) completed a heartwarming community service project by constructing a new house for a needy family in Puwatkarei, Point Pedro. The housewarming ceremony was attended by Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander of Security Forces (Jaffna), who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
