The 3 rd (Volunteer) Battalion of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment dedicated for handling the internal security requirements in the hill country is a pioneering deployment in the Sri Lanka Army , and Major General W P A D W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu- the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Forceand Colonel of the Regiment of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment visited the historical battalion on 22 and 23 August 2024.
