Coincide with the 76th Army Day Celebration, the SLAVF launched a programme on repairing medical equipment belonged to government hospital Kosgama. The handover ceremony of those equipment was graced by the Commandant- SLAVF, Major General K V N P Premaratne RSP USP nps psc and he vested them in the hospital authority on 07 October 2025 during a simple ceremony.

Countries bound by this international treaty committed to phasing out the use of ozone-depleting substances, a crucial step in protecting the Earth's vital stratospheric ozone layer from the harmful effects of UV radiation.

Preliminarily, ten teams represented respective Security Forces Headquarters competed under league matches and the tournament commenced on 21 August 2025 at the ground of the Regimental Headquarters Sri Lanka Engineers.
