The Volunteer Force staged “Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force Independence Volleyball Championship – 2024” under the auspices of Major General MK Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu - Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force, at the Rendezvous Grounds, Headquarters Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force on 31 January 2024.

With the intention of inspiring spiritual,mental and optimistic attitudes of the army personnel, "Udarai Oba" programme, sponsored by Arya Foundation, was held on 19th January 2024 at the "Rendezvous Pavilion" at HQ SLAVF on a notable concept of Major General M K Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu, the Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force.
