9TH REGIMENTAL COUNCIL MEETING OF SLACAL

The 9th Regimental Council Meeting of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock was held on 18 November 2024 at the Directorate of Agriculture & Livestock Conference Hall-Panagoda. Commander Security Forces (East) and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock, Major General SA Kualathunga RWP RSP VSV USP psc, presided over the council meeting.

Major General AMKGPSK Abeysinghe Major General TC Peiris RSP USP, Major General EMGA Ambanpola, Brigadier BN Madanayake RWP RSP, Regimental Centre Commandant of SLACAL—Brigadier TMSJ Thennakoon RSP, Brigadier YKS Rangika psc ptsc, Brigadier MAS Weligama, Colonel D I A Perera RSP USP, Colonel NC Lokugalapaththi IG, Colonel DMDA Dhanasekara, and Lieutenant Colonel KS Thalagala USP were joined with the Council Meeting as council members. During the meeting, they discussed officer-related matters, general matters, admin matters, and logistic matters and concluded with important decisions relevant to the SLACAL Regiment.
