ONEDAY LEADERSHIP TRAINING WORKSHOP FOR AGRICULTURE OFFICERS

A one-day workshop training programme under the theme of "Leadership training and attitude development" for direct enlisted Agricultural Officers of the Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock was successfully held on 14th and October 2022 at the Regimental Officers Mess Sri Lanka Artillary. This event was a brainchild of Director General Financial Management (DGFM) of the Army and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock Major General WBSM Abeysekera RSP USP

This event was organized to enhance professional capabilities and competencies of Agrarian officers same time to manage the daily duties of the agricultural officers , to provide leadership, to provide an understanding of the qualities of a leader as well as the ethics of a leader and to manage the agricultural activities of farms at a high level

The arrangements and the conduct of the training programme was coordinated by the staff of Directorate of A&L with the close supervision of Brigadier AK Rajapaksha RSP Director A&L.

The training programme was conducted by KUMA IDDAMALLENA – LEADERSHIP & PERSONALITY TRAINING SPECIALIST

The event was held with the participation of Major General WBSM Abeysekera RSP USP Director General Financial Management (DGFM) of the Army and Colonel Commandant SLACAL, Brigadier AK Rajapaksha RSP -Director A&L,Brigadier BN Madanayaka RWP RSP -Deputy Director A&L, serving senior officers of the Directorate of A&L along with some 57 officers from SLACAL. This event was a grand success and it was held with prolific lectures and productive discussions.

Dr. Kuma Iddamallena was presented with mementos by the Colonel Commandant of SLACAL in appreciation of their intellectual assistance.

Event concluded with Officers social gathering at the mess with observing mess etiquettes.
