COLONEL COMMANDANTS VISIT TO 4(V) SLACAL AFTER THE BATTALION SHIFTED TO MANICFARM

After established Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock on 04th January 2021  7th (V)  Sri Lanka National Guard converted as the 4(V) SLACAL on 25 Feb 2021 and located at Amunukole,Nochchiyagama.Presenly 4 (V) SLACAL  was relocated at Manikfarm with the instructions of Director General Financial Management (DGFM) of the Army and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock Major General WBSM Abeysekera RSP USP.

Colonel Commandant visited 4 (V) SLACAL on 11 August 2022 after relocating the battalion in Manicfarm.He was warmly  welcomed by the  Commanding Officer Lt Col MMDSK Bandara psc SLAC and Colonel Commandant visited Army farm Manicfarm, Adiyapuliyankum and proposed new location for the Battalion Headquarters.

Troop Address  was conducted with the participation of soldiers  from 4 (V)  SLACAL. During the camp visit, he inspected OR's Kitchen, Ration Stores, OR's accommodation and  appreciated Officers and other ranks for the effort taken to maintain the camp in a good shape and finally  he penned his thoughts and good wishes in the visitors’ book.
