20 ACRES HYBRID CHILLI PROJECT WAS KICKED OFF BY 6 SLACAL IN COLLABORATION WITH HJS KONDIMAN (PVT) LTD

New agricultural project was started on 10th June 2022 by Commanding Officer of 6 SLACAL at Kottikattiyarkulam Army farm, which is controlled by newly established 6th battalion of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock. Based on the contract signed with HJS Kondiman (Pvt) Ltd under the group of Hayleys Agriculture, the purpose of this project is to contribute for the Agricultural production in the country to face the rising food crisis in the country. Under that agreement 20 acres of land will be cultivated with hybrid chilli variety MICHNY 01 to produce and marketing of dry Chilli. This Agriculture Project is under supervision by Directorate of Agriculture and Livestock. Necessary inputs such as seeds, irrigation systems, technical support and machinery will be provided by the HJS condimen pvt Ltd and labour force and supervision will be provided by 6SLACAL.
