LECTURE ON HOME GARDENING AND PRODUCING COMPOST

A Lecture on Home Gardening and Producing Compost was conducted on 17 March 2022 at Parish of Ragama Church with the participation of the Director General Financial Management (DGFM) of the Army and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock Major General WBSM Abeysekera RSP USP and the President of Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock Mrs Shanthie Abeysekera.

The lectures were conducted by Major WTU Perera 2IC 6 SLACAL and Major AM Amarathunga SO 2 Directorate of A & L. Over 150 people were participated for this event and highlighted the advantages and importance of home gardening and producing compost during the lecture.

All attendees were given with mango and jackfruit saplings and display of Agri Products were held after the programme.
