FIELD VISIT OF CENTRE COMMANDANT SLACAL TO NEWLY ESTABLISHING BATTALIONS AT AKKARAYANKULAM AND KKURUMBA SETTI.

Centre Commandant RHQ SLACAL , Brigadier Bandula Liyanage made his initial field visit to the, 6 Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock -Akkarayankulam on 07 February 2022. This is a Regular Battalion which is going to raise in the near future. 2IC designated 6 CAL Maj WTU Perera conducted a comprehensive briefing on the ongoing works of the new establishment. Centre Commandant visited the camp premises and addressed the troops in the camp.

During his speech he emphasised that troops' full contribution and commitment is essential for the upliftment of this newly established camp and thanked all troops for working together for the betterment of the organization.

The next day Centre Commandant visited 5 (V) Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock -Kurumba Setti and observed the administrative functioning of the newly Volunteer Battalion which is going to be raised in Jaffna Peninsula.
