CERTIFICATE AWARDING CEREMONY AT SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE -ARALAGANWILA

The training of junior leaders are paramount important to maintain the higher standards in order achieve the vision of Agriculture Corps. Accordingly keeping that on view with the direction and guidance of Major General WBSM Abeysekera RSP USP the Director General Financial Management(DGFM) of the Army and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock one month Basic Agriculture course - No 2 was conducted at School of Agriculture - Aralaganwila.The course commenced from 18th January 2022 to 19th February 2022. 4 x male officers and 49 other ranks participated in this course and certificate awarding ceremony was held today with the participation of Colonel Commandant of the Agriculture Corps as the Chief Guest with Corps of Agriculture Seva Vanitha President Mrs. Shanthi Abeysekera and Lt Col DLCN Muththanthirige Commanding Officer 3 (V) SLACAL also participated for the event.After distributing the certificates Colonel Commandant address the troops and highlighted the importance of following this courses and this courses are one of a benchmark for achieving the highest goals in Agriculture & Livestocks during his speech.

Finally 53 Mango saplings were given to students to plant in their residences.

Futher during this ceremony President Seva Vanitha Branch SLACAL donated water filters to the use of Agriculture Soldiers.
