CERTIFICATE AWARDING CEREMONY OF SECOND BASIC AGRICULTURE COURSE AT KARANDENIYA

The "Basic Agriculture Course No - 2 conducted by 2 (V) SLACAL in Karandeniya was ended on 18 February 2022 and course duration was one month. Centre Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Agriculture and Livestock (SLACAL), Brigadier Bandula Liyanage RSP graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. A batch of 2 x Lady officers and 29 womens successfully completed the course and received their certificates from the Chief Guest. The course curriculam included with Organic Farming, Crop Cultivation, Food Preservation, Machinery, Animal Husbandry, Value Added Animal Feed Products.

To further demonstraite their skills a group presentation contest was conducted among the course and five groups were participated for the contest at the end of the course. Maj WAND Jayasundara Commanding Officer 2(V) SLACAL also participated for the event.
