THE SECOND BASIC AGRICULTURE COURSE COMMENCE AT SRI LANKA ARMY SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE- ARALAGANWILA AND 2(V) SLACAL- KARANDENIYA

The Second Basic Agriculture course was started today at Agriculture Training School -Aralaganwila. Four newly commissioned Officers and 49 ORs were participated for the course. Lt Col DLCN Muththanthirige the Commanding Officer 3 (V) SLACAL graced the event and conducted the opening address for the course at the School of Agriculture - Aralaganwila.

Chief Instructor (CI) Maj LSW Wepitiya Lsc SLACAL will be overlooking the course & lectures will be conducted by Capt EKIP Kumara, Capt SDV Dissanayake during the course. Course will conduct from 18th January to 18th February 2022(One Month) .

In parallel to the Agriculture course at Aralaganwila training school another Basic Agriculture course was started with the opening address of Brig Bandula Liyanage RSP the Centre Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock.There were two newly commissioned Lady Officers and 30 ORs participated for one month course.Capt WGNP Madusanka will be the course assisting officer and lectures will be conducted by Capt KWNSS Wickckramaarachchi and Lt APSN Wasalathilaka.

It has been planned to conduct Advance Agriculture course and Agriculture Specialized course in near future in order to uplift and enhance the agriculture knowledge of the Officers and Other Ranks in the Corps of Agriculture.
