SLACAL OFFICERS’ TRAINING DAY ON 15 JANUARY 2022 HELD SUCCESSFULLY

RHQ SLACAL held the initial officers’ training day for first quarter of the year on 15 January 2022 at 4(V) Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock regiment(Nochchiyagama).

Training day commenced with a round of physical training for young Officers. The Centre Commandant of SLACAL Brigadier Bandula Liyanage delivered the opening address of the first training day and all officers were sat for a group photograph.

Afterwards Captain MDC Madushanka delivered a valuable presentation on challengers of Organic Agriculture and all officers actively participated for this lecture and also Colonel Commandant address SNCO on the subject of Junior Leadership.

The training day programme terminated with the Dinner’s Club held at the Officers Mess, 4(V) SLACAL and group of Officers 4(V) SLACAL delivered a presentation on the topic of Taliban affects the South Asia. Finally Director General Financial Management (DGFM) of the Army Colonel Commandant Major General WBSM Abeysekera RSP USP windup the training day programme with his valuable speech.
