Participation of Paddy Cultivation Harvest Festival

The Paddy Cultivation Harvest Festival was held under the theme "Prosperity to the Motherland" at the Aralaganwila Agricultural Training School premises on the morning of 19.02.2022 under the patronage of the Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock Seva Vanitha Branch.

After that, the Hon. Chairperson presented the traditional rice variety called "Swayanjatha Al Wee" to the Commanding Officer 3(V) SLACAL.

Arrangements have been made in the future to cultivate and expand the seed paddy and provide Swayanjatha al wee plants to all our seva vanitha members for cultivation as a grow bags.

The aim of this project is to encourage all members to provide a nutritious diet with medicinal properties.
