Harvesting of paddy grown using organic fertilizer at Kandakadu Army farm in line with the government’s ‘Green Agriculture’ concept was conducted on 1st September 2022 amidst a limited gathering. Lieutenant Colonel BMTA Baddewela RSP PSC IG, Commanding Officer, 3 (V) Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock with all the troops at the Kandakadu Army farm completed an extent of 55 acres of land. The project was launched several months ago for the ‘Yala’ season in order to strengthen the government’s green agriculture policy for growth of healthy food.Officers and Other Ranks of 3 (V) SLACAL assisted the harvesting ceremony.
