The Opening of Refurbished Officers Mess-RHQ SLACAL

The re- furbished Officers’ Mess was opened on 08 September 2023 at Regiment Centre of SLACAL at Karandeniya. Director General Financial Management & Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock Major General WBSM Abeysekera RSP VSV USP graced the occasion as chief guest.

During the event, Regimental Centre SLACAL bid farewell to the 1st Commanding Officer of 1 SLACAL, Lieutenant Colonel HVKW Abeywickrama USP IG SLA,Staff Officer I (Logistics),Lieutenant Colonel RT Ganengoda SLE & Staff Officer II(OCPC) Major HMGC Mohotti psc GW who were relinquished their appointments and recognition their tremendous service to the SLACAL. A special token of appreciation made to Lieutenant Colonel SC Edirisinghe SLACAL, Chief Editor Ranaviruwa Magazine for his yeoman sevice in publishing books on War Litreture. Centre Commandant of SLACAL Brigadier KASK Siriwardana RWP RSP USP, Senior Officers of SLACAL & Officers of the Regimental Centre also graced te days events.
