FUNDAMENTAL AGRICULTURE COURSE FOR OFFICERS COMMENCE AT SRI LANKA ARMY SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE - KILINOCHCHI

As per the instructions of Director General Financial Management (DGFM) of the Army and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock Major General WBSM Abeysekera RSP USP the Fundamental Agriculture course for the Officers who have joined to the SLACAL in recently was started on 14 November 2022 at School of Agricultural Kilinochchi.

Six Officers from 57 Division and three Officers from SLACAL are following this course and course will conduct from 14th November to 14 December 2022( One Month) with the objective of further expanding the Agricultural knowledge of the Officers of the Regiment of Agriculture and Livestock. Commandant School of Agriculture and Livestock Lt Col DLCN Muththanthirige conducted the opening address for the course at School of Agriculture Kilinochchi.

It has been planned to conduct Agriculture & Livestock Advance course, Specialized course in near future in order to uplift and enhance the livestock knowledge of the Officers and Other Ranks in the Corps of Agriculture.
