Donation Of Dry Rations for Lila Withana Elderly Home to commemorate Poson Festival by SVB SLACAL

As a concept of the president of Corps of Agriculture and Livestock Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Shanthi Abeysekera , a dry ration packs distribution Programme for the Lila Withana elderly home , was organized by the Corps of Agriculture Seva Vanitha Branch on 14 June 2022 at Lila Withana elderly home Warapalana,Yakkala prior to mark the Poson festival Year 2022. The event was organized, under the guidance of the Director General Financial Management (DGFM) of the Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock Major General WBSM Abeysekera RSP USP . This noble event was sponsored by all battalions of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock with the coordination of RHQ SLACAL.

The Chief Guest of this programme was Mrs. Shanthi Abeysekera, the president of Seva Vanitha Branch Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock.

Afterwards, the day’s Chief Guest Mrs Shanthi Abeysekera , together with Major General WBSM Abeysekera RSP USP and a few more Senior Officers visited the ward and met all 30 elderly persons and closely inquired into their well-being, needs and other requirements, if any.
