COLONEL COMMANDANT of SLACAL VISITS 6SLACAL AKKARAYANKULAM - KILINOCHCHI

Director General Financial Management (DGFM) of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock Major General WBSM Abeysekera RSP USP has visited newly raised battalion 6 Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock and its under command Army farms Venavil and Koddikattiyarukulam, with Director of A & L Brigadier AK Rajapaksa RSP on 02 April 2022.

The Colonel Commandant was warmly welcomed by the 1st Commanding Officer of 6SLACAL, Lieutenant Colonel ASB Hapuwinna USP psc SLAC. A mango sapling was planted by the Colonel Commandant in the camp premises to mark his visit, thereafter participated for all ranks tea and discussed matters pertaining to development of agriculture projects, welfare and administration aspects with officers and Other Ranks.

During the visit, Colonel Commandant highlighted some special areas to improve with the given time frame and thanks for all ranks during his speech for the effort made by them to maintain the farms in a good standard.
