The Colonel Commandant Paid His First Visit to 3(V) SLACAL

Commander Security Force (East) and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock, Major General SA Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc, paid his first visit to the 3rd Volunteer Battalion of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock on 8 May 2024.

The Colonel Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer of 3(V) SLACAL, Lieutenant Colonel BMTN Bandara psc SLA, and a ceremonial guard turnout was awarded at the entrance in accordance with military formalities. Col Comdt planted a sapling in the camp and posed for a group photograph with officers and other ranks to mark his visit to 3(V) SLACAL. Col Comdt addressed the troops, and then inspected the camp area, followed by a comprehensive breifing by Commanding Officer.

Later, Colonel Commandant Major General SA Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc visited the Army Farm Kandakadu and inspected undergoing MRE project, milk project, curd project, cattle shade, goat shade, buffalo shade, orange cultivation, ornamental fish project and paddy cultivation. Afterwards, Col Comdt visited Army Farm Galkanda.

The Centre Commandant Brigadier KASK Siriwardana RWP RSP USP also took part in the programme.
