COL COMDT VISITS 1 SLACAL -MAHAWA ARMY FARM BALALLA AND NIRAVIYA

Director General Financial Management (DGFM) of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock Major General WBSM Abeysekera RSP USP has visited 1st Regiment Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock and its under command Army farms Balalla and ,Niraviya on 14th January 2022 Further, he visited at 1st Bn of SLACAL at Mahawa.

The Col Comdt was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer - 1 SLACAL, Lieutenant Colonel HVKW Abeyvickrama USP, and accorded with a ceremonial drive pass by the troops of 1 SLACAL, planting of a sapling,wearing of new Regiment badges to tps and thereafter participated for all ranks tea .

During the visits, Col Comdt inspected accommodation areas and highlighted some sp ecial areas to improve with the given time frame and thanks for all ranks during his speech for the effort made by them to maintain the farms in a good standard.
