The 74th Independence Day celebration was held at the Independence Square in Colombo with the participation of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock first time in history today.

The newly formed Corps of Agriculture and Livestock on January 4, 2021, as per the new concept and vision of His Excellency the President "Vistas of Prosperity and splendour" ,participated for the 74^th Independence Day Celebrations under the patronage of His Excellency the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Independence Square, Colombo on February 4, 2022 for the first time, adding a new remarkable page to the history of the Corps of Agriculture and Livestock as well as now the Agriculture Corps are in the forefront of driving the green agriculture national drive while simultaneously entering into mass scale cultivations across the country.

Maj WADRS Adikari was the Parade commander and two Officers and 83 ORs participated for the 74^th National Independence Day Parade.
