On the concept of Commander of the Army, with the supervision and guidance of Major General H J Senevirathna RWP RSP ndu Commander Security Forces (West), troops of SFHQ (West) commenced sowing paddy in Panaluwa,Thunnana area with a simple ceremony on Tuesday (12) May 2020.
The land extends for almost 4 acres owned by the Army in order to sow paddy varieties.

Troops of the Security Force HQ-West offered their coordination and assistance for supply of a large stock of dry and fresh rations, adequate for 89 foreign Buddhist monks and student monks, resident at Homagama Buddhist and Pali University, following joint sponsorship provided by owner of S.K Munasinghe Motors, Lion Mahinda Perera, President 306/C/01 District Lions Club and the ‘Bosath Aryashrawaka’ Foundation.
