The new house was vested for beneficiary on 11 September 2023 during a simple ceremony in the presence of Major General R A J N Ranasinghe RSP USP ndu, General Officer Commanding of 61 Infantry Division.

After the assessing the situation, the distribution of coocked meals to the affected people of Wanathamulla area was carried out by 14th Battalion of the Vijayabahu Infranrty Regiment and the 6th Battalion of Gajaba Regiment on 03rd of September 2023.
