Major General SRK Hettiarachchi RWP RSP VSVUSP ndu psc, the Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) marked his maiden visit to Headquarters 51 Infantry Division at Kopay on 13th June 2023 after assumption of his duties.

The visiting delegations were warmly welcomed by the Commander on arrival at the office.

On the conceptual guidance of General Officer Commanding, 55 Infantry Division, Major General Prasanna Gunaratne RSP ndu psc IG a knowledge sharing session on drug prevention and the impact of drugs on sportsmen/women and society was organized by the 55 Infantry Division on 11 June 2023. With the intention of safeguarding the well-being and future success of young sportsmen, the event took place within the 55 Division Area.

The General Officer Commanding 52 Infantry Division, Major General KPSA Fernando RWP RSP ndu relinquished his duties on 07 June 2023. He will assume his duties in the appointment as the Director General Infantry at Army Headquarters in a couple of days. The outgoing General Officer Commanding made his visit to 521 & 523 Infantry Brigades to address all Officers and Soldiers under command to 52 Infantry Division on 05 June 2023.
