Sri Lanka Army, 12th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery located in Batticaloa under 231 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area,conducted a "Sramadhana Programme" at "Sungankerni Pulleyar Kovil" in Batticaloa on 27 April 2013 .

Security Force Headquarters (East) organized a Fully Fledge Computer Laboratory worth of Rs Two Million to Welikanda Central College consist of Ten Multimedia Computer systems, Printers, Scanners with the financial assistance of Commercial Bank, Kaduruwela Branch, which was declared open on 3 rd May 2013. Maj Gen Lal Perera RWP RSP USP psc ndu IG graced the Opening Ceremony as the Chief Guest. Several Military and Civil dignitaries along with Teachers and Students of Welikanda Central College Participated for the Opening Ceremony.

2nd Gajaba Regiment located in 221 Brigade area under 22 Div in security force (East) Renovated a house worth of Rs 51000.00 for underprivileged family in Abayapura village with the financial assistance Donors in the area. The Key Handing over ceremony was held on 2013.05.02 with the participation of Government Officials, Senior officers, Soldiers and large number of villagers.

2nd Gajaba Regiment located in 221 Brigade area under 22 Div in security force (East) in Security Forces (East) area, conducted a shramadana campaign at" Sri Bodhipadaparamaya Viharaya" on 25 April 2013 .

Sri Lanka Army, 2nd Regiment Sri Lanka National Guard Battalion located in Ilangathure Madaweepuram under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East), Organized a Shramadhana Campaign with civilians to renovate The Children Park at Ilangathurei on 02 May 2013.

Sri Lanka Army, 8 Sri Lanka National Guard located in Thoppigala under 232 Bde of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area, conducted dengue prevention programme on 03 May 2013 at Ailadichena village with the participation of villagers of the area.

Sri Lanka Army, 22 th Regiment Sri Lanka Vijayabagu Regiment located in Thanganagar Tco/Sankavalli School Play Ground under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East), Organized a Shramadhana Campaign with civilians on 04 May 2013

Security Force Headquarters(East) Conducted a training session for the 2nd in command of the battalion under command to Security Force Headquarters(East) as per the concept of commander Security Forces(East) Maj General SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndc IG. The training session is based on Development of Psychosocial Skills Pertaining to Civil Military Coordination Activities. This training session mainly consist of two parts.First session is from 29 April 2013 To 04 May 2013 , Second Session will be conducted from 13 May 2013 To 17 May 2013.
