According to an information received by 7 Military Intelligence Corps,Intelligent troops (attach to 222 Infantry Brigade) together with Kanthale Police Stations officials, a person was arrested with 100 mg of Heroin Drugs on 21 November 2022. Suspected person with illegal drugs was handed over to the Kanthale Police Stations for further investigations.

The 23rd Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment successfully completed battalion training at the Infantry Battalion Training School of 23 Infantry Division at Punani. Under the careful supervision of General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Division, this collective training was conducted over 48 working days from 05th August 2022 to 22nd October 2022 with the participation of 10 Officers and 382 Other Ranks.
