The Seva Vanitha Branch - Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers hailed and appreciated the services of the former Seva Vanitha Branch President Mrs. Surangi Amarapala during a farewell reception at Regimental Centre Officers’ Mess on 04 July 2025 with the participation of the Seva Vanitha branch members.
Mrs. Lilanthi Dolage, the new President of Seva Vanitha Branch offering a bouquet of flowers welcomed the Chief Guest, Mrs. Surangi Amarapala on arrival. Afterwards, the agenda got underway with eye-catching dancing performances and entertaining musical rhythms. In the meantime, a short video was displayed highlighting the welfare and social activities conducted during Mrs. Surangi Amarapala’s tenure.
Later on, Mrs. Lilanthi Dolage, the President delivered the farewell note, emphasizing the invaluable service rendered by Mrs. Surangi Amarapala to uplift the welfare of the Corps and extended best wishes for the outgoing Chairperson and her loving family for their future endeavors. Further, a photo album was presented to the outgoing Chairperson highlighting the significant events held during her period.
Mrs. Surangi Amarapala in turn thanked the Seva Vanitha Branch President and staff for the farewell ceremony and recalled the cooperation and the encouragement she received from all Seva Vanitha members with gratitude and highly appreciated those gestures.
Prior to end of the session, after appearing to the group photograph Mrs. Surangi Amarapala penned a complimentary note on visitor book.
