Under the supervision of Mrs. Surangi Amarapala, the President of Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers and Mrs. Shashika Dasanayaka, the spouse of the Commanding Officer 4(V) Engineer Regiment SLE & the Member of Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, embarked on another remarkable chapter of the book donation initiative on 26th April 2025, held at the 4(V) Engineer Regiment SLE. The regarding celebration of 114th Anniversary 4(V) Engineer Regiment SLE, aiming to enrich the educational journeys of children from military families, ensuring a brighter future for the next generation.
A meticulously curated collection of educational packs, included books and essential learning materials, were presented to the children of soldiers and civil staff. These resources aim to inspire a passion for knowledge, equipping children with the academic aids needed to excel and fostering on commitment to education. This noble initiative extended its support to 30 children of Corps members. The programme stands as a testament to the unwavering dedication of the Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers to supporting the educational aspirations of its extended military families.
