A heartwarming donation programme was organized by the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers on 25 January 2025 in collaboration with the 14 CBRNE Response Regiment. The event, held at the SALEBA Conventional Hall in Mattegoda, was aimed at supporting pregnant spouse of other ranks and school children from families of civil servants.
Under the esteemed guidance of Mrs. Surangi Amarapala, the President of the SLE Seva Vanitha Branch, and Mrs. Chamila Lakmali, the spouse of the Commanding Officer 14 CBRNE Response Regiment, the event was meticulously planned and successfully conducted by the 14 CBRNE Response Regiment.
This event was dedicated to supporting the pregnant spouses of soldiers in the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers by providing them essential supplies and vital items to ensure their well-being throughout pregnancy. Moreover, essential items were distributed among school children of civil servants to facilitate their educational journey and enhance their academic performance. To make the day even more engaging arrange fascinated demonstration of explosive detection dog were showcased and many more entertainment events organized by 14 CBRNE Response Regiment.
This initiative reflects the commitment of the Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers and the 14 CBRNE Response Regiment to support and uplift the Sapper families, fostering a spirit of unity and compassion.
