The National Karate Championship took place on the 17th and 18th of October 2024 at the Bandaragama Indoor Stadium, where 16 male and female Sapper karate players representing the Army team displayed remarkable skill and determination. Their hard work paid off as they secured a total of 12 medals, including 6 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze.
Among the standout performers, the Sappers demonstrated exceptional techniques and strategic mastery throughout the competition, showcasing their dedication to excellence. Their impressive performances highlighted not only their individual talent but also their collective commitment to the sport.
