Under the guidance of General Officer Commanding Engineer Division, a lecture titled “Basic Knowledge on Economic Development and Finance Intermediation” was organized by Sri Lanka Army Engineer Division on 08 October 2024.
Senior Professor RA Rathnasiri B.Com (UoJ), Mphil (Colombo), phD (P.R China) conducted the session and explored the basic knowledge on economic development and finance intermediation. The session provided a drive into foundational concepts of economic development and the critical role of financial intermediation.
Moreover, he provided a rich explanation of economic development, equipping attendees with a deeper understanding of valuable insights into how these two areas involved to build the stability in economics and the elements contribute to overall societal progress and development.
35 Officers serving under Engineer Division participated in session and simultaneously shared among the Officers of Engineer Brigades and Units through the virtual platform.
