NEW CHIEF FIELD ENGINEER TAKES OVER DUTIES AT ARMY HEADQUARTERS

Major General T C Peiris RSP USP officially assumed duties as the Chief Field Engineer (CFE) of the Sri Lanka Army during a charming ceremony held at Army Headquarters on Wednesday, 09th October 2024. Upon arrival at the office, newly appointed Chief Field Engineer was welcomed by Colonel H S K Jayasinghe RSP, the Colonel Coordinating Office, Office of CFE.

In a solemn and symbolic gesture, Major General T C Peiris RSP USP signed an official document, signifying his acceptance of new appointment amid a backdrop of religious observances and lighting of traditional oil lamp followed by an all ranks tea party.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished Senior Officers, and Officers of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers. This marks a significant moment in the Army's ongoing commitment to excellence, and his renowned leadership is eagerly anticipated as he takes on the responsibilities of the Chief Field Engineer. Prior to this new appointment, Major General T C Peiris RSP USP served as the General Officer Commanding of the Sri Lanka Army Engineer Division.
