VISIT OF THE CENTRE COMMANDANT TO ‘RANAVIRU SEVANA – RAGAMA’

On Tuesday, 24th September 2024, Colonel Mangala Balasooriya RSP, the Overlooking Centre Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, visited the Ranaviru Sevana in Ragama by representing the Commander Security Forces (West) and the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc. The purpose of his visit was to inquire about the well-being of following resident War Heroes belong to the Sappers Family who are currently undergoing treatments such as Occupational therapy, Physio therapy and Cognitive behavioural therapy.

During his visit, Colonel Mangala Balasooriya RSP together with Staff Officer I (Veterans Affairs), Lieutenant Colonel M A T Priyantha USP SLE, engaged warmly with the residents, wishing them a swift recovery and took the time to discuss their needs and necessities, fostering a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Presence of the Centre Commandant, provided encouragement and highlighted the commitment of the Corps for the welfare for them.
