According to the concept of the President of Seva Vanitha Branch, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Mrs. Surangi Amarapala, 1 Field Engineer Regiment took the initiative to organized an educational aids donation programme on Tuesday, 30th July 2024 at the Regimental Centre, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.
The primary objective of the program was to furnish essential educational aids to children of soldiers who have more than three kids in a family. Each gift pack encompassed a range of educational materials including books, stationery items and school bags, ensuring that the recipients are equipped for academic success.
Mrs. Nadeeshani Hidellarachchi, Spouse of the Second in Command 1 Field Engineer Regiment, Capt(Dr) Udeshi Jayasinghe SLAMC and Mrs. Sulochana Amarasekara who are the members of SLE Seva Vanitha Branch participated in the event.
