Commander Field Engineer Brigade Col H K P Karunathilaka RSP made his maiden official visit to 7 Field Engineer Regiment Demining site at Poonagar GN division in Tricomalee on July 23, 2024. He was warmly welcomed by Major W M A B Warnasooriya USP psc SLE, the Commanding Officer of 7 Field Engineer Regiment extending a gracious welcome on behalf of all Ranks of the Regiment.
The programme was commenced with a site briefing by the Site Commander followed by a site visit. Moreover, the Commander Field Engineer Brigade addressed the troops at the site by emphasizing importance of their contribution to the Nation.
Marking the termination of the visit, Commander Field Engineer Brigade penned his valuable thoughts in the Visitor’s Book.
