VISIT OF THE CHIEF FIELD ENGINEER TO THE ENGINEER DIVISION

The Chief Field Engineer, Major General P P A Perera Hdmc psc made his maiden official visit to the Engineer Division on 02 July 2024. The Chief Field Engineer was warmly welcomed by Colonel B A M P Balasooriya RSP, Colonel (Admin and Quartering) of the Engineer Division by extending a gracious welcome on behalf of all ranks of the Division and under command Regiments of the Mattegoda camp.

The Chief Field Engineer was accorded with the drive pass as a military tradition and followed by addressing to the troops while emphasizing the importance of maintaining high standard of discipline as a military personal, value of interview of under command troops and importance of financial management.

In line with the programme, Chief Field Engineer joined to the all-ranks tea and confabulate with troops.

Prior to culminate the visit programme, Chief Field Engineer penned down a complimentary note in the visitors’ books of Engineer Division and posed for a group photograph with Senior Officers and Officers of Mattegoda camp.
