CHIEF FIELD ENGINEER VISITS THE 6 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT

Major General P P A Perera Hdmc psc, the Chief Field Engineer of the Sri Lanka Army, undertook a visit to the Headquarter of 6 Field Engineer Regiment, Pallekele on 12 June 2024.

Upon his arrival, the Chief Field Engineer was accorded by a Drive Pass at the main entrance and warmly welcomed by Overlooking Commanding Officer Major R M L A Rathnayake USP psc SLE.

The Chief Field Engineer addressed the troops, while highlighting the value of maintaining high standard of discipline as military personnel and how to manage the monthly expenses according to the monthly salary. He also emphasized the value of team work by reminiscing his past experiences and the valuable lessons he learnt from them. Afterwards, The Chief Field Engineer participated to the All Ranks tea organized in the NCOs’ Club

The Chief Field Engineer expressed his heart felt gratitude to the amazing hospitality he received during the period of the visit. The programme was culminated with signing of visitor’s book at the Commanding Officer’s office.
