Under the inclusive framework of recognizing and appreciating the outstanding performance displayed by an Officer during a career course, was praised by the Director General Financial Management and the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc on 07 May 2024 at the Regimental Centre, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.
In that, Major K P Kaluarachchi SLE belongs to 1 Field Engineer Regiment secured the 1st in Order of Merit in Junior Command Course No. 29 conducted at the Army War College - Buttala, awarded with a cash prize for his excellent performances in the course. He was able to secure the 1st in Order of Merit out of 04 Foreign Student Officers and 62 Local Student Officers.
