THE CHIEF FIELD ENGINEER VISITS 11 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT

Major General P P A Perera Hdmc psc, the Chief Field Engineer of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, visited the 11 Field Engineer Regiment on 31 May 2024.

In accordance with military traditions, troops presented the formal Drive Pass salute to the day’s chief guest upon arrival and warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer of 11 Field Engineer Regiment, Lt Col KGCK Kudagamage SLE.

As programmed, the Chief Field Engineer addressed the troops and he highlighted the importance of maintaining high standard of discipline as a military personal, managing of monthly salary and the value of military service as well.

Afterwards, the Chief Field Engineer joined to all-ranks tea session and confabulate with troops while tea session. Before leaving the premises, the Chief Field Engineer penned down a complimentary note in the visitors’ book.
