OFFICIAL VISIT OF THE CHIEF FIELD ENGINEER TO FIELD ENGINEER BRIGADE AND 8 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT

The Chief Field Engineer of the Sri Lanka Army, Major General P P A Perera Hdmc psc made his official visit to the Field Engineer Brigade and 8 Field Engineer Regiment – Boo Oya with the scope of addressing to under command troops on 29 May 2024.

The Chief Field Engineer was saluted with a drive pass upon the arrival and warmly welcomed by the Commander Field Engineer Brigade, Colonel H K P Karunathilaka RSP and the Commanding Officer of 8 Field Engineer Regiment.

As programmed, the Chief Field Engineer planted a ‘Mango’ sapling for symbolize the visit, followed by addressing to the troops of Field Engineer Brigade and 8 Field Engineer Regiment while emphasizing the maintenance of high standard discipline as military personnels and the value of military service.

Prior to his departure, the Chief Field Engineer penned his complimentory remarks in the visitor’s book of Headguarters, Field Engineer Brigade and 8 Field Engineer Regiment.
