MAJOR SAMPATH MALLAWAGE HANDED OVER THE DUTIES OF THE COMMANDING OFFICER – 10 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT

10 Field Engineer Regiment bids farewell for Major M C S Mallawage Lsc SLE upon completion of 1 year and 8 months of his illustrious military tenure as the 8th Commanding Officer on 31 March 2024 at 10 Field Engineer Regiment, Myliddy. The farewell ceremonies included a Guard Turnout, Ceremonial Parade and followed by a Troop Address by the outgoing Commanding Officer to Officers and Other ranks.

Major Sampath Mallawage is a legendry Sapper Officer who gained many achievements to this regiment. Farewell formalities were culminated by signing of handing over documents and symbolically handing over the Regiment Flag.
