The Centre Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, Brigadier MPK Madurapperuma RSP USP psc paid the first official visit to 10 Field Engineer Regiment on 26 October 2022. The Centre Commandant was ceremonially welcomed and followed by a briefing on current administration commitments, financial stability of the regiment by the Commanding Officer of 10 Field Engineer Regiment, Major MCS Mallawage Lsc SLE
During the troop address, the Centre Commandant emphasized the troops regarding the importance of career progression and the living standards of a soldier by nurturing them with the knowledge of military disciplines that must be undertaken by every sapper Officer and soldier
Inspection of unit accounts was commenced following the troop address. The Centre Commandant further expressed his firsthand experiences on account handling and methods to increase the income from unit profit generated projects
