71st Anniversary of 1 Field Engineer Regiment

The 71st anniversary of 1 Field Engineer Regiment celebrated on 01st October 2022. A Bodhi Pooja was held at Sri Sudarshanarama temple on 30th September 2022 with the aim of paying homage to the war heroes including disabled soldiers who scarified their lives for motherland.

Inter Squadron Volleyball tournament was organized with a view to develop the comradeship of unit Officers/Solders on 01st October 2022. Then HQ squadron was emerged as champion of the tournament. Finally, as it was scheduled host a special lunch to troops in 1 SLE on 1st October 2022 and terminated the day proceedings with the musical show.

In accordance with the all military traditions and customs, there were get together in Sergeants’ mess and Officers’ mess to enhance the unity among SNCOs and Officers of Corps of Engineers.
